Social Security Administration began mailing employers notification about social security mismatches

In March of 2019, the Social Security Administration (SSA) began mailing notifications to employers identified as having at least one name and Social Security Number (SSN) combination submitted on wage and tax statement (Form W-2) that do not match its records. For more information, please see
