December 2022 Visa Bulletin Update – USCIS to Honor Dates for Filing for Employment-Based Categories

Next month, USCIS will accept employment-based adjustment of status applications from foreign nationals with a priority date that is earlier than the Dates for Filing listed in the State Department’s December 2022 Visa Bulletin.

Employment-Based Priority Date Cutoffs for December 2022

To be eligible to file an employment-based adjustment application in December, foreign nationals must have a priority date that is earlier than the date listed below for their preference category and country.

USCIS has chosen the Dates for Filing chart listed in next month’s State Department Visa Bulletin for employment-based applications.

*If there is no legislative action extending the EB-4 Certain Religious Workers category beyond December 15, 2022, the category will become “unavailable” on December 16, 2022.
