April Visa Bulletin Update: USCIS to Honor Final Action Dates for Employment-Based Categories Next Month
Employment-Based Priority Date Cut-offs for April 2020
To be eligible to file an employment-based adjustment application in April, employer-sponsored foreign nationals must have a priority date that is earlier than the date listed below for their preference category and country.
After several months of permitting applicants to file an adjustment of status applications under the more favorable Dates for Filing chart, USCIS has returned to the Final Action Dates chart for employment-based applications in April.
The Final Action Dates chart imposes cut-off dates for EB-1 countries worldwide.
Adjustment of Status Filings through the end of March 2020
USCIS will continue to accept adjustment applications based on the March Dates for Filing chart through the end of this month.
