Certain Travelers Departing from Shanghai Exempt from Pre-Departure COVID Testing Through June 10
Through 11:59 PM EDT on June 10, 2022, U.S. citizens and nationals, U.S. lawful permanent residents (LPRs), valid U.S. immigrant visa holders, and nonimmigrants traveling with U.S. citizens and LPRs who are departing from Shanghai, China, are exempt from providing proof of negative COVID-19 test prior to boarding a flight to the United States, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The policy had originally been set to expire on May 11, 2022.
